A Differential Pressure Transmitter measures the pressure difference between the High Pressure (HP) and Low Pressure (LP) ports, converting the measurement into standard industrial signals such as 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, HART, or RS485. These signals can then be transmitted to PLC, DCS, SCADA, or other automation systems for real-time monitoring and process control.

Another important application is filter monitoring, including HVAC systems, dust collectors, heat exchangers, and clean rooms. As filters become clogged, differential pressure increases. Monitoring this pressure difference allows maintenance teams to replace filters before they reduce system performance or cause unexpected downtime.
