Capacitance Level Switch Model : RCLS

The Capacitance Level Switch Model RCLS is an industrial point level switch designed to detect the presence of liquids or solid materials inside tanks, silos, hoppers, and process vessels. It operates using capacitance measurement technology, detecting changes in capacitance between the sensor probe and the tank wall when the measured medium comes into contact with the probe.

As the material covers the probe, the capacitance value changes and is processed by the internal electronic circuit. Once the preset threshold is reached, the device generates a switching signal for high-level alarm, low-level alarm, pump control, valve control, and other industrial automation functions.

With a simple design that contains no moving mechanical parts, the RCLS offers excellent reliability, long service life, and minimal maintenance. It is suitable for measuring liquids, powders, granules, slurry, chemicals, cement, grains, and other bulk solid materials.
